Photography has always been in my mind & Since I first picked up a camera, I haven't been able to put it down.

My Name is Aidy Mc, An Award-winning Photographer, Multi-Award Winning Screenwriter, Film Maker and travel blogger from Northern Ireland.

My Background in Photography started back in 2013 when I began studying BTEC Level 3 in Creative Media Production at South West College (SWC).

I then moved on to a Foundation Degree in Digital Arts and technologies back at SWC where my interest in Street and documentary photography began and where I first saw the work of Vivian Maier.

Having completed my Fda I progressed onto the BSc Cinematic Arts course at Ulster University Magee Campus which focused on Film and Cinema. I still had a hunger for photography and studying film only fuelled that passion more as it introduced me to two of my favourite photographers, Sir Don McCullin & Steve McCurry whom I had seen through documentaries during my studies.

I graduated from Ulster in 2019 with a 1st Class BSc Honours Degree and continued my daily life as a Customer Advisor & used photography as a hobby and passion until early 2020 when I started into the Freelance world.

It was during the Covid-19 Pandemic in 2020 that I used the peacefulness and emptiness to capture My local Area through Landscape Photography which led me to have my work commissioned by the Chair of the Fermanagh & Omagh District Council at the time for a display on Tourism in the council. A series of photos are currently on permanent display at the Strule Arts Centre Omagh.

This is where Jaffa Journey's Started, with my sister exploring the Island of Ireland three Jaffa Cakes at a time.
